![]() Doesn't necessarily blow me away, but my friends have complained that this microphone very noticeably degrades the quality of my voice. I have had to disconnect and reconnect the headset numerous times to even get this feature to work. Also, the chat mixer only works like 50% of the time. You get used to it but it is not very intuitive. The fact the chat mixer and mute buttons do not even feel like they click when you press them is super annoying. My issues with this headset are honestly pretty obnoxious problems. On-headset slider for master volume, and some weird buttons for the chat balance. Very sleek comfortable design and better options. This headset was probably the best one so far. Thirdly, I tried the HyperX Cloud Flight for Xbox One wireless. This headset, however, has no on-headset sliders so you will need an adapter of some kind to adjust chat and master volume. If you go for this headset, I recommend you ditch the mixamp and purchase the just the headset. I was incredibly disappointed with that headset to say the least. What kind of Xbox gamer wants a lap full of cords going to their Xbox. After setting it up the first time, my honest reaction was WTF. However, in order to use the mixamp, you must plug in and optical cable and a usb cable to the xbox, a 3.5 - 2.5mm headphone jack from the headset, and a 3mm jack between the mixamp and the controller. The headset is actually fine, it sounds great and seemed very sturdy. I figured it has to be good if it costs that much, and I was wrong. Then I went a bit crazy and tried the Astro A40 with Mixamp which cost $250. The only feature built into them was a mute slider. They were probably the closest to appearing like normal headphones out of any pair I've used though. Not many features though and really lacking when it came to the overall build. If you've never had a wireless headset and want a cheap entry point, these are great. I started with the Steel Series Arctis 1 for Xbox One. They have been great as my daily driver, but recently the left headpiece fell off when I dropped it, so I've been shopping around. A built in slider for game/chat mix and a separate dial for master volume. They have bluetooth capability so you can connect to your phone, an option for sound cancelling, and surround sound. ![]() They connect directly to your Xbox so no USB dongle or anything to plug in. I have used the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 for Xbox One for the past 3 years, and I love them. I wanted to try and answer the second part of the question the best I can because I have been searching for a good headset for so long and tried so many different headsets that I feel specially qualified to answer. I have no clue if the G733 works with Xbox, but I too am interested.
